AAHC Turkey Scavenger Hunt Trail Ride

Riders MUST be back by noon to qualify for prizes and must be present to win.

Early Breyer Registration (before Nov 21): $40 for Members (AAHC), $55 for Non-Members, $10/extra lunch
Last minute Registration (after Nov 21: $50 for members(AAHC), $65 for Non-members, extra lunches unavailable
Come join us for a Turkey Hunt scavenger hunt at Pastures of Rose Creek!
The trail ride will be approximately 4 miles long, consisting of mild to moderate terrain. All Turkeys can be spotted from horseback and captured with your phone/camera. No need to dismount unless you are truly dedicated to the scavenge.
There are three divisions: Open Season, Tailored Turkey, and Turkey Trot.
Open Season: Prize for the person who finds the most turkeys along the trail.
Tailored Turkey: Prize for the person with the most theme appropriate dress.
Turkey Trot: Prize for the person who rides closest to optimum safe time.
No dogs please. Helmets are required for all AAHC events with horses.
Can’t ride but want to come hang out and help? We would LOVE to have a few Volunteers between 8AM-3PM on the day of the event. If you have a couple of free hours, come hang out, help out, and enjoy lunch with us! Please reach out to Athensareahorsecommunity@gmail.com to volunteer.
