Athens Area Horse Community we want to ensure our horse community is safe, even in the worst of times. Better education = better outcomes for all! Our TLAER education classes in conjunction with Dr. Rebeca Husted are a benefit to all: First Responders, Veterinarians, Animal Control Officers, Law Enforcement, Owners, Community Members, and more. If you want to arm yourself with life saving skills when faced with a large animal emergency, than this training is for YOU.

These are some of the valuable skills you will learn through the TLAER Awareness Course. This course is also a prerequisite to further TLAER training. Whether you are new to large animals, or a seasoned pro, there are many aspects of large animal rescue you have never thought to consider.
